Profile
Since 1990, members of the CUHK Diabetes
Care and Research Group have been working consistently and persistently
towards a common goal to improve the quality of life of people with diabetes
through research, care and education.
The Hong Kong Foundation for Research and Development
(HKFRDD) was founded by Professors Juliana Chan, Clive Cockram, Peter
Tong, Dr CC Chow, late Professor Julian Critchley and their colleagues
in June 1999, under the auspices of the CUHK with a mission to benchmark
diabetes care in Hong Kong through innovation and development of human
resources.
